Ms. Sawyer has been involved in the real estate industry since 1980. Prior to joining Coldwell Banker, served as Regional Supervisor for Orion Real Estate Services located in Dallas Fort Worth, Texas supervising seven tax-credit and bond financed properties throughout Texas. Prior to joining Orion, Nancy was an Area Supervisor with JMG Realty, Inc. February 2002 through June 2004 Ms. Sawyer served with Innovation Management Services, Inc. as Vice President. Prior to joining Innovation, Ms. Sawyer was Corporate Operations Director for a management company in Northwest Florida. She was responsible for the operations of the corporate office, the delivery of management services and the asset management of approximately 6,000 units (92 properties) in Northwest Florida and Central Georgia. All properties were 501-C-3 Bond Financed. Ms. Sawyer also served for five years as Director of Multifamily Housing with Volunteers of America National Housing Corporation, one of the nation’s larges non-profit providers of affordable housing programs. She was responsible for the management and operations of affordable and subsidized multifamily housing properties and compliance with regulatory agencies. Directly supervised 4,360 units and consulted or asset managed an additional 1,564 units. During her employment with Volunteers of America, Ms. Sawyer was instrumental in the development and implementation of the nationwide on-site children’s after school and summer program “The Booth Kids”, named after Maude and Ballington Booth, the founders of Volunteers of America. Ms. Sawyer also served as a Commissioned Minister while with VOA. She was also active as a volunteer for many of the corporations human services such as the “I Remember Mama” function held to serve any mother who had no place to go on Mother’s Day, and served as a volunteer in a New Orleans Group Home for teenage girls.
