Jeannette Black is the Broker/Owner of Coldwell Banker United Realty Professionals. In 1980 the firm was founded by Jeannette Black and Jerry Griffis under the name of Granbury Real Estate Professionals, Inc. In 1985 the firm joined Coldwell Banker as an affiliate and took the DBA of Coldwell Banker United Realty Professionals. The firm has been under the same management and ownership since 1980. The firm has a proud history of being the top producing company in the Lake Granbury area for many of those years. Over the years Jerry had become more than a friend and business partner, he was part of the family serving as the father and grandfather that was missing in their lives. In January 2011 Jerry left us to go to our heavenly father and he is greatly missed at the Black’s home and at Coldwell Banker. In memorial of Jerry this year our prized Team Spirit Award will become the Jerry Griffis Award, as he was the heart of Coldwell Banker. If Jerry is the heart of Coldwell Banker the professional, experienced and loyal agents are the soul.
Jeannette has two grown daughters, two great son-in-laws, two grandchildren and husband, Bill. Family, friends and God give her love, strength and joy.
Jeannette is a certified Continuing Education Instructor and teaches several Realtor Designation courses. She believes that training and knowledge are the key to having professional agents, well qualified to serve the public in real estate.
