Lake Granbury and the Historic square are the star attractions of the charming community of Granbury, Texas.
The lake is 33.5 miles long and has 100 miles of scenic shoreline. Lake Granbury offers boating, fishing, waterskiing, canoeing, and swimming. There are hotels and condos along the water's edge as well a beautiful new city park with beach, swimming area and picnicking, great for family fun. In this same area is the newly constructed Convention Center.
The town square is on the National Registry of Historic Places. It has a beautifully restored Court House and Opera House that were built in the 1800's as well as other entertainment, restaurants and interesting shops in turn of the century buildings.
